Jeffrey Barrier was apprehended by police at Aloha Tanning in Cincinnati. Apparently, Barrier had perched on a chair outside the booth and was snapping photos of a client. Barrier hid the evidence, but the cops put on their special gloves.

The LA Times reports that environmental scientists in the USA and Europe are testing raw sewage for a more accurate estimate of drug abuse. Scientists have discovered illegal substances in the sewage in every tested city.
In Minneapolis Troy Molde awoke to find police officers in his bedroom. They warned him to lock his doors. Officers stated that they entered, after knocking repeatedly. Molde says, "I was violated."
China, India and the US sparred over imports this past week in Geneva, ending the trade talks, that began in 2001. Chinese Commerce Minister, Cheng Deming, quipped that the US was "asking a price as high as heaven."
